Q: Is boat insurance required in Florida?

Florida does not require boat insurance the way it requires auto insurance. That surprises people. What does require it, in practice, is almost everyone else. Marinas usually want proof of liability before they give you a slip, and lenders require coverage on a financed boat. And the absence of a legal requirement does not make you any less liable if something goes wrong on the water.

Q: Is my bike covered when it is parked or stored?

Comprehensive coverage handles theft, fire and storm damage whether you are riding or not, which matters more in Miami than in most places. Liability alone does not. That is the gap that catches people after a hurricane or a theft.

Q: Does my policy cover a passenger?

Usually, but not automatically, and the limits are often lower than riders expect. If you carry a passenger regularly, tell us when we quote it. It changes what we recommend.

Q: How much does motorcycle insurance cost in Miami?

There is no flat number, and anyone quoting you one sight unseen is guessing. Price moves with your riding record, your age and experience, the bike itself (a sport bike and a cruiser do not price the same), where you park it, and the coverage you pick. Q: Do you insure ATVs and off-road vehicles?

Yes. ATVs, dirt bikes and similar recreational vehicles are a regular part of what we place. Coverage works differently from a street bike, especially around where you ride and whether the machine gets trailered, so it is worth a short conversation rather than a web form.

Q: What does motorcycle insurance cover?

It depends what you build. Liability for damage or injury you cause, collision for your own bike, comprehensive for theft, fire and storm damage, medical payments for you and a passenger, and uninsured motorist coverage for the driver who hits you carrying nothing. Custom parts and accessories are usually a separate add-on. Riders tend to find that out the hard way.
