Who is IMAX Insurance Group?
IMAX Insurance Group is an independent insurance agency in Miami. We opened in 2013, we have two offices (one on Bird Road, one on West Flagler Street), and we work in English and Spanish every single day.
Independent means we don’t work for one insurance company. We work with several. So when you come to us, we shop your policy around and lay the options out side by side. You pick. We explain the fine print in plain words, in whichever language you think in.
And we treat everyone who walks through the door like family. In Miami, that’s the only way a neighborhood business lasts this long.
Why use an independent agent instead of going direct?
Call one big insurance company and you get one price. Maybe it’s a good one. You have no way of knowing, because nobody compared it to anything.
An independent agency is appointed with several insurance companies. So one conversation with us gets your car, your home or your business quoted by more than one company. Same coverage, compared fairly, without you sitting on hold four separate times. (Hold music is nobody’s favorite genre.)
It matters later, too. When your renewal shows up with a rate jump, we can move you to a different company instead of telling you to take it or leave it. And when you have a claim, you call a person in Miami who knows your file. Not a phone tree.
